About IPPC

Established in 2011 and held biannually since then, the International Plant Protease Conferences (IPPC) serve as an international forum for the exchange of cutting-edge research in plant protease biology.
The conference series attracts international research groups focused on these vital enzymes, which are increasingly recognized for their key regulatory roles in post-translational modification, house-keeping functions, and complex cascades driving cell death, immunity, and developmental processes in plants.
The core goal of the IPPC is to unite researchers employing different methodologies—from technology development and biochemical elucidation to the study of complex biological processes—to foster collaboration and advance our understanding of the functions and mode-of-actions of plant proteases.
